Food Pantry
Bi-weekly food distribution
The food pantry is always in need of food and must rely on the community for supplemental food drives. We are a partner agency of the Central Texas Food Bank, which serves 250+ food pantries in Central Texas. Because the CTFB does not have enough inventory to meet all of the needs, food drives are instrumental in helping many, many families.
The Hutto Resource Center provides a bi-weekly food pantry distribution to food insecure families.
At each distribution, clients will receive 50lbs-60lbs of food consisting of non-perishable items, meat, fresh fruits and vegetables(when available) and hygiene/household products (when available). Feminine hygiene products, diapers and other baby items are available upon request and when available.
